History and Commitment of MA.CO.2L in Woodworking

Our journey began in 2008, closely intertwined with the iconic history of SICAR SPA in Carpi (MO) and Villa Bartolomea (VR). During those years, Giacomo Calderan, production manager at the Villa Bartolomea site, was in China searching for the finest materials to create the revolutionary 5-in-1 SICAR Furore 300 I combined machine. When Sicar encountered difficulties and had to close in 2012, Mr. Calderan, with his experience and knowledge of the best suppliers acquired during the project's research, decided to continue the business despite the lack of support from the parent company. Thus, MA.CO.2L (Woodworking Combined Machines) was born, initially producing 5, 3, and 2-in-1 combined machines, later expanding the range to include thickness planers and circular saws. Two of the most skilled technicians in wood combined machines joined our team after Sicar's plants closed.
